Annie Wright's Day School for preschool through grade five provides a challenging curriculum that is flexible enough to be responsive to the needs of the individual student. We provide a traditional learning environment in which the development of fundamental skills receives the greatest attention. As our students grow intellectually and socially, their progress is evaluated in a manner that considers the unique characteristics of every student. Parent participation and involvement are encouraged in all aspects of our program.
Day School teachers take advantage of the opportunity to create a program of study that accommodates their special style of teaching, and also accomplishes the objectives that have been established for each grade level. Every classroom provides an atmosphere in which students can comfortably respond to a variety of learning situations. We are dedicated to promoting a healthy self-image for all of our students, and preparing them for the demands of their continuing education.
Annie Wright has recently applied for candidacy for the International Baccalaureate’s Primary Years Programme in our Lower School.
